New installation for frontpage server extensions
Hi,

I just install frontpage server extensions on a Windows 2003 server. I
configure my website to use the extension ... but now when me (admin) or
another user is trying to modify a web page from our frontpage problem (on
our pc) we always get a popup windows to enter a username and password ....

we both have right to view. modify web pages in the ntfs security of the
folder and also a greated my self administrator roles in FPSE .. and author
role for my user ...

it seem that the security is now working correcly ...

can someone help me ?

Re: New installation for frontpage server extensions

Re: New installation for frontpage server extensions
Have you applied your user name to admin group for the web site?

You might want to also post this issue to the Windows Server newsgroup.

Re: New installation for frontpage server extensions
When you installed the extensions, did you install them from the Windows 2003 Server CD, and at the
same time that you installed IIS?

Re: New installation for frontpage server extensions
I assume so, I installed in in 2003, so it would be hard for me to say at
this point.

Re: New installation for frontpage server extensions
Ok, then you need to post this issue to the Windows Server newsgroup.
