I am using Frontpage 2003 to maintain our website (www.bvinst.edu). I want to be able to post .wmf files to a page on the website. I want users to be able play the file but not download it to their computer? How do i prevent the public from downloading a wmf file from my website? thanks
Not Possible - by the time they have loaded the page it already is downloaded to their browser cache (or if they can open it in WMP they can always do a File Save from there) Only way is to convert the wmf Files to Flash (FLV) and run them from a custom Flash player (SWF) - that way they have no access to the FLV content except from your site through your SWF -- _____________________________________________ SBR @ ENJOY (-: [ Microsoft MVP - FrontPage ] "Warning - Using the F1 Key will not break anything!"
