Outlook 2003 Created a rule to move messages recv'd thru specified acct to a particular folder. Have tried deleting & recreating the rule - still doesn't work. There are no other rules that end with a "stop processing" order. Nevertheless, have tried moving the rule to the top of the list - still doesn't work. Please advise?
Define 'doesn't work' - does it not run at all or works, but not as expected? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-request@lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. "Doesn't work" means that email downloaded thru the specified acct just winds up in the Inbox with everything else and is not segregated to the particular folder as intended. What type of email account do you have? Nevermind...you caused me to realize that the alt POP3 email server (personal email address) was forwarding to the primary POP3 email server (business email address), so the secondary acct setup in Outlook was only configured to send (not receive). Ergo the rule would not work. Must configure the rule to filter by email address instead of account. Thanks ! "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: > What type of email account do you have?
