retrieving outlook contacts
The motherboard of my computer was fried in an electrical storm. The hard
drive was not damaged and I was able install it in a new computer as a second
drive. My files seem to be intact but I can not find my outlook contacts. Is
there a way to retrieve them? Thanks - Tom

Re: retrieving outlook contacts
Look for a hidden file on the second drive with a .pst extension. When you find it, use Outlook's File->Open->Outlook Data File. You can then set this one as your permanent location to receive mail (Data File management) if you intend to keep the second hard drive, or you can copy everything to your new default .pst file on the C:\ drive. Do NOT import.
