I am running Outlook 2002, and it's happening to me as well. Driving me crazy trying to figure out how to undo it. I have sub-folders in my Contacts, and every time I delete all the contacts in the base folder, it fills up as I reply to people. So.... Hardly. As I said Outlook 2002 does not and cannot do this.
