Outlook Meeting Requests
when I send a meeting request to someone outside our company some people
receive it as a regular meeting request but others receive it as an
attachment that they are not able to accept or drag to their calendar. Does
anyone know why this happens?

Thanks!

RE: Outlook Meeting Requests
In Tools | Options | Calendar Options, make sure the box under Advanced
Options that says "When sending meeting requests over the Internet, use
iCalendar format" is checked.

RE: Outlook Meeting Requests
Thanks Jocelyn, that works very well but the issue that I see is that since
all the recipients are using exchange, why is it that some are getting it as
attachments, I notice that even when the people that receive it as an
attachment send me a meeting request it comes as an attachment too. Is there
a setting on exchange that causes this?

RE: Outlook Meeting Requests
Have you talked to your Exchange administrator about it? I'm not really an
Exchange expert...if your admin can't help, you may want to repost just that
question so someone better versed in Exchange can assist you.
