I really want to make onenote look like paper - bright yellow backgound, ruler lines & margin (yes this is there) and a blank screen with no mouse & no edit flashing cursor. I can make a 1 pixel mouse image to get rid of the mouse but not the edit blinking cursor [setting of bling rate in control panel KEYBOARD] - the mouse stuff is under MOUSE Any ideas
Hello Roger, You can hide the pointer while typing by following the directions at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/accessibility/hidepointer.mspx You may be able to edit a cursor file and reduce the cursor to nothing - one article telling about how to do this is at http://help.lockergnome.com/office/Hide-mouse-pointer-Kiosk-mode-ftopict462706.html. I did not try this myself, and recommend backing everything up first before editing these files. Good luck! -- Thanks for using OneNote, John Guin OneNote Test Team http://blogs.msdn.com/johnguin "roger" wrote: > I really want to make onenote look like paper - bright yellow backgound, > ruler lines & margin (yes this is there) and a blank screen with no mouse & > no edit flashing cursor. > > I can make a 1 pixel mouse image to get rid of the mouse but not the edit > blinking cursor [setting of bling rate in control panel KEYBOARD] - the mouse > stuff is under MOUSE > > Any ideas
John, Thanks for the reply - the tips deal with the 'mouse' cursor but I'm trying to eliminate the 'keyboard' cursor. The vertical line positioned at where the text starts which flashes [at a speed controlled under keyboard under control panel]. This is the one I want to suppress so that the screen looks just like paper [NOTHING flashing] Any ideas?
