display database window   
hi, i need help

i got a database created by somone else.   both the Use Access Special Keys 
check box and the Display Database Window check box  may be cleared and  the 
File menu is replaced  with a custom menu. how can i restore the original 
menu? 
ctrl+F11 do not work

Hold the shift key while the file opens.  Once it is open you will see the 
database window.  At the top of the screen find the tools tab, then go to 
startup, and in the startup dialog box check all the menus you want to start.
