I got the following message while I preview the report. "you must define a sort field or expression for group header or footer in the report you tried preview or print" This is a subreport of the main report. Any informaiton is great appreciated,

Main report has group, so the subreport has the group I do not need. Subreport continues to ask 2 group fields. After I take out the group, I got message. Report continues to ask me to enter 2 group fields when I have 2 groups back to subreports. Any ideas about this? Your information is great appreicated,
You probably deleted the field name from the column but didn't delete the entire row in the sorting and grouping dialog.
