Finding Active DDE Servers?
Hi folks. MS Word was taking a long time -- like 50-60 seconds -- to
open a document after double-clicking in Explorer. I found that
deselecting "Use DDE" in Windows' File Types made the problem go away.

Other information I've found suggests there may be a process on my
machine with an open message queue that's not being serviced, causing
DDE operations to hang until the request times out.

Does anyone here know how I could ID the offending process? (Alternate
theories are welcome too.)

Thanks,

DJV
