adding entry
My database has a contact ID column that automatically gives the client the
next available number. However, I'm tryin to insert a few clients that
already have a contact ID number and are just not in the database. When I
create a new row, I cannot change the ID number to what I want. The
properties say it is unlocked and enabled. is there anything else to try??
thanks,
Laura

Is there a chance that the ID column is defined as an Autonumber datatype?
