Keeping links when transfering exel files from one computer to a n
I have many linked excel files that I wish to tranfer to a new computer with
a new user name and on a new drive (Drive "D" isntead of "C")

Question:

1) How do I tranfer thousands of files with thousands of links to a new
computer on a new drive and maintain their links? (without changing each
file individually)

2) Since I already have to transfer these files and change their links, how
can I change the links and file extentions so that they will link in Excel
2007 instead of 2003?

I don't know if there are programs that do this or not. Can the transfer be
done in bulk for all of the files being transfered at once? I'd like to
substitute the old portion of the links address that worked on the old
computer, for a new address for the new computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
