I work in an office were many PCs use Excel 2003. On one PC with Excel 2003 an error occours when ever email addresses are entered into cells. The error message is the standard microsoft error which prompts the user to report. It then saves another versin of the file.
Your problem is a different "take" on my problem. I add lines to my sheet (multiple sheet workbook), including email addresses. This sheet is my list of logons and passwords, plus some other info. I never thought the email address might be the problem??? I found sometimes it will owrk if I add the line at the end of the sheet, then copy it into the proper sequential line. When I try to SAVE the book I get the same exact message you are mentioning. Sometimes it's nice to know someone else is having the same (or similar) problem. DAVE P.
