HELP-an unrecognizable format
I have been using windows xp & now I had to buy a computer with Vista
(terrible). My problem is that an excel file that I am trying to open is
unrecognizable in Vista (I guess). All my other files open no problem,
but of course the file I really need doesn't-what can I do now?

TIA

Re: HELP-an unrecognizable format
Hi,

If you are opening it from the desktop, try opening it from inside of Excel
instead. There may be a file association problem.

Verify that the file is not corrupt, move the file to another machine and
try opening it there.

Cheers,
Shane
