I have experimented with a number of different combinations of file formats 
and it seems to be hit and miss. As a general rule, I never use the 2007 file 
format because of backwards incompatibility with those I share my files with. 

So I find it difficult to believe that it is "obviously" the source of the 
problem. Their has to be something else.
