Please can someone advise about the above. Microsoft support has already said to delete the normal.dot, which I eventually found - although not in the expected place! However it hasn't deleted the macros on the toolbar. It seem that its not possible to edit macros once they have been set up on the toolbar, thus allowing access to the modify window. Sadly I deleted the ones I made a mistake with, one at a time, in the modify window while still in the process of making them - no problem there. But then making another to get it right brought back the 'deleted' ones which seemed to work aswell! Now i have two of each which work, one that doesn't work but I can't get rid of the text on the toolbar and two that just flick and not work properly. Any advice would be welcome please - the PC help is no use and online help says it doesn't have any advice either! Thanks
How about Tools>Customize and then left click and drag them off the toolbar. -- Hope this helps.
