By using SaveAs with the appropriate file format set.

ActiveDocument.SaveAs FileFormat:=wdFormatDocument

No the formatting gets messed up. I just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office
2003 and ALL of my documents are junk. I have text boxes and tables in the
document and they are all over the place now. I can't drag them back to
where hey belong the documents are now junk.. Does anyone know where they hid
the magic key yo fix this? I really don't want to recreate everything from
scratch.
