Macro trouble
I just upgraded from Office 10 to Office 11 and opted to do a complete
reinstall instead of an upgrade.
Now, when I open word, I get a security message about opening macros. When
I select Tools/Macro/Macros, I see that that I have the following macros:
AutoExec, AutoExit, OmniPage_OCR, OmniPage_Settings. I would like to remove
ALL these macros, but when I focus on any one of them, the DELETE button is
not enabled. At the bottom under description, it tells me that the macro
was created today.
Any suggestions about how to remove these macros?
TIA,
Tom

Re: Macro trouble
Hi Tom.
It sounds like you have an Omnipage add-in loaded associated with a scanner.
In Word, go to Tools, Templates and Add-ins. See if there are any add-ins
loaded, and by selecting an add-in in the list, find out where it is
located. It will probably be in one of two locations
1. C:\Documents and Settings\<yourname>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup
2. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Startup\
Close Word, locate the file using Windows Explorer, and move it out of the
folder.
