Hi We have created a number of webpages using Word 2003 for our Intranet. The webpages include Screen shots copied into paint and copied out into word. The screen shots are missing from the webpages, but if we edit the pages in word they appear. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks B

Mht's were intended for displaying web pages on local machines rather than an internet/intanet. The reason the screen shots (images) are not appearing is because the path links are invalid. The path links saved to the web pages does not match the directory structure of the internet/intanet. Your options are two. . . either you spend an unecessary amount of time looking for and providing the corrections with Word OR You edit the exsiting paths (of the html pages) with any text editor. http://groups-beta.google.com/groups?as_q=images&num=10&scoring=r&hl=en&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_ugroup=microsoft.public.word.web.authoring&as_usubject=&as_uauthors=&lr=&as_qdr=&as_drrb=b&as_mind=1&as_minm=1&as_miny=2002&as_maxd=24&as_maxm=5&as_maxy=2005&safe=off
Thank you, Im now not sure why I was using mht files. I didn't realise that Word will embed images in html files (which was what I wanted). "I didn't realise that Word will embed images in html files (which was what I wanted)." It will however, only with the use of VML (Vector Markup Language) which is only used by the latest MS Browsers. Thus if your visitors use any other browser (including early MS Browsers), it's likely that the images will not appear.
