Shortkeys for Normal macros don’t work
I have Normal filled with some macros, symmetrical to those in Excel, that do
useful things (e.g. transpose formulae into correct sub- and subscript
shape), and need to be at hand. After reinstalling the system and Offices
with only completion by SP3 (XP, Word 2002), no response appeared to any of
renewed shortkeys, linked to macros. The subroutines can be normally deployed
from the list, the shortkey behavior of corresponding macros in Excel is
quite trouble-free.
Before experimental de-installation of SP3: can this be the culprit?
Thanks for your opinion

When you re-installed everything did you reinstall the original normal.dot
file that contained the shortcuts?

Graham,
No, I installed a new Normal.dot with transferring the text of macros.

Re: Shortkeys for Normal macros don't work
There you go then. Replace it with the original normal.dot and all should be
well again.

Re: Shortkeys for Normal macros don't work
Oh, blunder, I hadn't expected the treachery. It's the matter with my home
PC, so I'll transfer the .dot from the office.
I'll tell the effect after the weekend. So far hundred thanks and pleasent
free days.

Re: Shortkeys for Normal macros don't work
Dear Graham,
If you still follow the thread:
I report success. Among the three methods how to transfer the macros
(organizer, .bas, text) I chose the most improper one, as I had got only the
text at hand. Nevertheless, I insist on that the inactive shortkey links
should not appear as valid in the dialogue box.
Thanks
