Having issue in Word 2007 having the spell checker catch words that have everything capitlized like "COOMPANY" or words that have numbers in them like âh9woeverâ. Is this a feature or a bug?
Hello, Mark, Thatâs a feature. You can change these settings by clicking on the big Office button (top left of your Word/Office window). Select Word Options, then Proofing: you can uncheck the options âIgnore words in UPPERCASEâ and âIgnore words that contain numbersâ. The speller will then flag COOMPANY or h9woever. I hope it helps, Thierry Fontenelle [MSFT] "MarkG" wrote: > Having issue in Word 2007 having the spell checker catch words that have > everything capitlized like "COOMPANY" or words that have numbers in them like > âh9woeverâ.
