default dictionary setting will not stay
Hi:
I have MS Office 2003, when I installed it everything worked fine. Now,
however, when I use it, the spell checker and such always seems to to be
locking in on Spanish. Everytime I reset the language to default to English
U.S., it will work for a little while, but then all of a sudden, with in the
same docuement, it will revert back to spanish. I am wondering if this is
something that is a bug with MS Office 2003, or if I have a bug on my PC.

In the Tips section of my website you'll find a discussion about how language
formatting is controlled in Word. Read through that and see if it doesn't help
you track down the problem.
My best guess is that 1. you have Spanish activated in Office as a language and
2. automatic language detection is on.
