spell checker
I am using Word 2000 and for some reason the spell check does not recognise
the word "hsa" as incorrect, it should be "has"
Every other word appears to be checked correctly.
I have tired to research this but simply got confused.

Any guidance would really be appreciated

thank you

Re: spell checker
Chances are you have added it to your custom dictionary by mistake. You can
check this out and fix it if I am right.

Re: spell checker
Thank you.
I have checked as suggested but although I see a number of words I have
added, the word " ahs " is not there
Sorry misled you before when I quoted "hsa"

Re: spell checker
ahs probably is a word. You can add it to an exclude dictionary.

Re: spell checker
Puzzled by 'ahs' as a word and driven by my desire to better my English I
checked: AHS is an acronym, has multitude of meanings, ranging from African
Horse Sickness to Anno Humanae Salutis. Most are ‘Asomething High School’.
