In MS Word XP Page Type changes when I select a new default printe
We are running Windows XP SP2 and OfficeXP. We have about 10 HP LaserJet
4200n printers. The drivers for most of our users are installed locally, but
the printers are on the network.

We are running in to a problem where 2 users, using the same printer can
open the same document and one will see the correct paper type (e.g. 1st Page
Letterhead, All other pages Bond) and the other person can open the same
document and it changes the page type to something different (e.g. 1st page
Color, all others Label).

We have tried reinstalling the drivers, we tried different versions, we
tried different PCL and PS. Still the problem exsists.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi Majo,

Assuming that all of these are using PCL6 and not PCL5 printers what are the users settings for default Paper Tray selection in
  File=>Page Setup
  Tools=>Options=>Print
