I noted lately that my Word ( Office 2003 ) has been automatically placed in the memory of my computer without no apparent reason. Any hint how can I avoid such fact, which makes memory crowded ??
Look in your Start > Programs > Startup folder. If there is an office file there, it is the culprit. My understanding is that it takes little memory, but I take it out of the Startup folder on systems that I set up.
