complex script font
hi;

I installed some complex script fonts but they're not showing up in my
complex script font options. when I select that font, it reverts back to
times new roman.

any idea?

thanks,

Re: complex script font
Are these OpenType (OTF), TrueType (TTF), PostScript (PFM,PFB) or something
else?

Do the files list in Windows Explorer? If so, what folder/directory are then
in?

Re: complex script font
TTF, they show up in windows explorer and in word03. it's just when I select
the font the Hebrew language it jumps to Times new roman. I tried to
highlight the text and click into the font properties and under the complex
script font options I have a very limited amount of fonts available. this
font and a few more in question are Hebrew fonts and they were provided me
as Hebrew fonts by other users who use without any problems.

thanks,

Re: complex script font
Have you _also_ switched to your Hebrew keyboard (IME) before
attempting to write Hebrew? If you do that _first_, Word will start
inputting whichever font its default for Hebrew is (possibly Tahoma,
possibly Times New Roman if your version happens to include characters
in that Unicode range). (If worst comes to worst, you could finish
typing in that default font and then do a Find/Replace All to the font
you want, but usually once you choose a non-roman font and are typing
in it, the font will stick.)
