Re: Printing WORD 2003 doc. does not work in WORD 2006?
Really?
The problem I am having is that there is no MS Office 2006. There is Office
XP (sometimes called 2002), MS Office 2003, MS Office 2007.
There is an Office 2006 but it is Ashampoo Office 2006.
http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/html/1/product_2_0138__.htm
The word processor part is called Textmaker rather than Word.
And there is a Softmaker Office 2006.
http://www.softmaker.com/english/of_en.htm
Both claim MS Office file compatibility.
Well, there is Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006
but that hardly fits. There are occasional mentions of MS Office 2006 on
certain web sites. However, those concerned a future product, one that was
released later than originally anticipated (what's new?) and it was released
as Office 2007.
As did Suzanne, I wondered about a Mac Office version. However, there is Mac
Office 2004 and an Office 2008 looming on the horizon.
However, as confused as it all makes me, none of that detail really matters
much. Any Word version should open documents created by previous versions.
If the versions are many generations separated, it might be necessary to
install additional file converters. That would not appear to be the case in
the situation you describe.
Did you read and try the solution I suggested?

It may well be Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006. Bob Buckland
mentioned that the other day, and I'd already forgotten it.
