Loss of fonts
Hi, I've recently upgraded from W2000 to XP Pro. I had been using the
Zanzibar SF and Prisoner SF fonts in some company documents, i.e. Adobe
Pagemaker, but when I open the documents now, the fonts are being
substituted, so I can't recreate my corporate image. I presume the
aforementioned fonts were included with 2000, but not with XP Pro. I've
tried to find them to download, but I can't find them anywhere! Any ideas
appreciated! mark@kms4hair.com.NO_SPAM

Re: Loss of fonts
I'm puzzled. Do you mean that you had these fonts installd; you upgraded
Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro and then discovered that the fonts were
missing?

An upgrade of XP over 2000 does not usually delete any fonts.

In any case, the fonts you mention are not installed by any Windows
version or any Microsoft application. Check your CDs for other programs
especially graphics applications such a greeting card makers.

You might find the files on a shareware/freeware font site such as
http://www.1001fonts.com/

Others can be found linked to MS's font pages
http://www.microsogft.com/truetype

and be searching with Google or the like.

Good luck.

These fonts were created by Softmaker and included with many version
of Serif PagePlus. Such fonts are usually clones or close
reproductions of other more well-known faces. If you still have your
CD's, that's where they'll be. (They each have bold, italic, and
bold-italic versions as well as a regular).
