Re: Gas flow symbol.
You should be able to use character 0183 (Unicode 00B7), raised a few
points. There is a Unicode character, 02D9, named Dot Above, but it's pretty
small (though no smaller than the dot in a colon). This may be the best you
can do: I don't find a V with a dot above even in Arial Unicode MS (though
there is one with a dot below)--nothing in any of the Latin Additional or
Mathematical Operators or Miscellaneous Technical character sets.
