A government office wants to receive in a GIF file the text we have in a line of a Word document. I know we can do a print screen but the challenge is the image should be submitted in a 732 width by 39 height dimension. Do you know a method to accomplish this in the fastest way? -- Cyber-cheers, A . J
Even pasting the screen shot into Paint, you may be able to crop to a certain pixel height/width. I feel sure you could do this with SnagIt, but if you don't already have it, that might not be especially fast (though you can download a trial version from www.techsmith.com). -- Suzanne S. Dead easy in Paint but whatever for? Only a government department could have such requirements! -- Enjoy, Tony "Suzanne S. If this is a re-occuring and/or high volume application, then give me a call to discuss how our product ($695) could provide you with the appropriate output by just printing the documents. If it's just for a one-time webpage banner or logo for a company listing, you're better off with the 100's of imaging tools available. Regards, Bob Pooley 858-794-6884
Thank you Suzanne, I created a boxed GIF file in Paint with those dimensions and pasted it non-opaque over the text screen shot, to cut after. Not fast, but functional :-) -- Cyber-cheers, A . J
