Word2k: default paper source problem... and hanging...
Win2kPro: Word2k. Canon IP3000 printer (with cassette)

Out of the blue my Word2k has started giving me printing problems that
NONE of my other applications are having.

It is hanging for 10-12 seconds when I ask it to print and insists on
looking for the auto sheet feeder even though I have set EVERYwhere to
use the cassette.

I have checked the control panel settings, the page setup settings and
the Word Tools Options settings. They are all set to Cassette but Word
persists in looking for the auto sheet feeder every time I print.

I notice that in the Control panel printer settings for the Canon, the
default setting is for the auto sheet feeder - BUT - Word obeys all
other individual settings I use....

Is there a way of changing the default setting in a file somewhere ?

Is there something in the Word/Tools/Options/File Locations that could
help ? I notice that the option for 'user options' is blank.

I was going to reinstall the printer driver .... but apart from hating
to do it... none of the other programs such as browsers, Photoshop, etc
etc etc are giving any problem.

Any advise would be most appreciated.
