Hello there, We are working on a plan to deploy Outlook 2007 separate from the 2007 Office Suite. After learning that there is a loss of functionality without Word 2007 installed, we are hoping to install Word 2007 in addition to the Word 2003. The issue we have is that after installing Word 2007, it sets that as the default for opening Word documents. There is a workaround to reset the file associations but running the Detect and Repair option in Word 2003, however, this isn't very practical for a wide deployment. Even when going in to the file types tab and pointing it to the Word 2003 executable, it still launches 2007. Any ideas? Thanks!
What about sending office 2007 documents as attachemnts. My e-mail as attachment buttons are greyed out. I have Vista and Microsoft Office Suite 2007. It appears that I do not have outlook. -- cjb "ExchangeGuy" wrote: > Hello there, > > We are working on a plan to deploy Outlook 2007 separate from the 2007 > Office Suite. I do not have Outlook on my new system. This must be the problem; although, it makes no sense since e-mailing a word document in the e-mail body works fine. It is just the e-mail as attachment button that remains unusable and greyed out. -- cjb "Doug Robbins - Word MVP" wrote: > See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/918792 > > -- > Hope this helps. > > Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my > services on a paid consulting basis. > > Doug Robbins - Word MVP > > "cjb" wrote in message > news:F1371D28-235C-4E7B-9A4D-EC4B62374BD0@microsoft.com... > > What about sending office 2007 documents as attachemnts.
