Does anyone know if it is possible to search for (and replace) a string in Microsoft Word 2003 that contains a mixture of both left-to-right and right-to-left text? In translating material from English to Arabic, some items (for instance names of Western companies) in our text remain in English left-to-right, and we need to be able to search-replace phrases which include a mixture of English ltr and Arabic rtl text.
As long as you enter text in appropriate logical order you should be able to find it, even in mixed text scenarios. -- MichKa [Microsoft] NLS Collation/Locale/Keyboard Technical Lead Globalization Infrastructure, Fonts, and Tools Blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/michkap This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
