Number outlines in templates
Hi. I have done this a million times but it no longer works. I am trying to
create a template where I would have:
1.0 header one
2.0 header one
    2.1 header two

and so on.

Problem is that i have spent hours on it and for some reason header two
comes out as 1.1, 1.2 etc when underthe first header one but comes out as
1.3, 1.4 etc under the next header one instead of 2.1, 2.3 etc. I am going
totally blind, nuts and crippled trying to fix the damn thing!!!!

Re: Number outlines in templates
It worked through level two. But even though I followed all the instructions
for 5 levels, when i went to level 3 under 2.2 I got 2.1.1. Under 1.2 I got
2.1.1. Under 2.3 I got 3.1.1. i have no idea why.

Re: Number outlines in templates
Most likely the levels are mixed up in the "Number format" box. When this
happens, usually the best solution is to delete the entire thing and
recreate them by hand.
