Hello, I use word xp and have Endnotes at the end of the book activated. Now there is a line on the top of each page where the endnotes are. How can I get rid of this line? I haven't been able to find a way to get rid of it. Thanks Octavee
In Normal View, Select View > Footnotes from the Menu. If you have both footnotes and endnotes in your document you will be asked which you want to see - select Endnotes. If you have only endnotes you won't get the choice. At the top of the endnotes pane is a dropdown which will show endnotes (or all endnotes or something similar) Click the dropdown arrow and select "Endnote separator" Edit the separator as you wish -- Enjoy, Tony "Octavee Uhl" <octavee (no spam) @ gmx.net> wrote in message news:eGJp5OsTGHA.1868@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > Hello, > > I use word xp and have Endnotes at the end of the book activated. It's the Endnote Continuation Separator you probably want to get rid of. See tips at http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/footnotefaq.htm -- Suzanne S.
