Formating of the Endnote Layout lines
Hello,

I use word xp and have Endnotes at the end of the book activated. Now there
is a line on the top of each page where the endnotes are. How can I get rid
of this line? I haven't been able to find a way to get rid of it.

Thanks
Octavee

Re: Formating of the Endnote Layout lines
In Normal View, Select View > Footnotes from the Menu.

If you have both footnotes and endnotes in your document you will be asked
which you want to see - select Endnotes. If you have only endnotes you won't
get the choice.

At the top of the endnotes pane is a dropdown which will show endnotes (or
all endnotes or something similar)

Click the dropdown arrow and select "Endnote separator"

Edit the separator as you wish

Enjoy,
Tony

It's the Endnote Continuation Separator you probably want to get rid of. See
tips at http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/footnotefaq.htm
