I have inserted an oval shape into a table. I used the "send behind text" order option in WORD so that I could see both the text and the oval around it. I want to change the shape, but can not move it back to the front of the text so that I can do so. How do I move it back to the front so that I can modify the shape?? Thank you very much in advance for your help, Mike S.
If you are using Word 2003 or prior -- click on the arrow on the Drawing Toolbar -- and "draw" a box that completely encloses your oval. You should then be able to select it. If you are using 2007 -- someone else will need to assist you. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kathryn Groves "Dr. Mike S." <Dr. Mike S.@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6AAF49B6-6DED-4793-BC6D-D4DF980E93E5@microsoft.com... >I have inserted an oval shape into a table. If using 2007 go to the Home tab, Editing group (right end), click Select & choose Select Objects to do as Kate described. Click anywhere else in the document when done in order to turn the Select Objects pointer off (or go back to the same command to toggle it off).
