How can you change the shape of a scanned picture into an oval sh.   

I have scanned a picture and I want to insert it into a document but I want 
the shape of the picture to be oval shaped...how can I do this in Word 2003?

Draw an oval, fill, fill effects, picture tab, browse to your picture. You may 
have to check the aspect box.
