Several weeks ago I created a picture watermark using a logo from my place of work, and assigned that watermark to a document. Now I wish to remove the watermark, which appears half-way through the document. When I go into the "printed Watermark" under Background in the Format drop down box, the picture watermark is grayed out and "no watermark" is checked. I tried selecting all text in the document and then trying to remove the watermark, but to no avail. I did not create the watermark in the header and footers, but nevertheless tried going into headers and footers to try to delete it there, but again this did not work. I cannot find anything in reveal codes about the watermark. I also tried deleting the jpeg file of the original watermark, but this also did not work. How can I get rid of this unwanted watermark? Thanks
Have you tried removing it while the cursor is on the page where it begins to appear? (It could be assigned to a specific section or page.) Yes, I have tried that. I've moved the cursor from page to page looking at the revealed codes and opening the sections under revealed codes to see if there is anything there about the watermark. Perplexing. Thanks "SSherman" wrote: > Have you tried removing it while the cursor is on the page where it begins to > appear? I got it. I found a paragraph symbol in the header box that I had overlooked. When I deleted the symbol, the watermark went away. Thanks your your assistance...
