I have a word file that merges with a file on a mapped drive. When I open the file it ask if I want to open a document with the following command: SELECT * FROM (filename) This used to work fine. However, for the last couple of weeks it gives me an error message that it can not find the merge document. We did have to change the methodology used for the mapped drive to connect to the share drive. We now use the IP address rather than a server name to connect to the file. The file name has not changed. When I delete the header information, I can click on the data source icon which opens the find file window. If I type in the filename it works. Yet, when I open the file and it automatically tries to find the file it can't. Any ideas?
