How can I insert a check box in a Word document   
I used to be able to do this with Word 93 but can't do it with new Vista 
programs.

Do you mean you don't know where to find the checkbox in Word 2007?

It's on the "Developer" tab (Office button -> Word Options -> Popular -
> Show Developer Tab in the Ribbon).
