Re: Embedded Equations Word 2003
Hi Suzanne, Thank you for ypur help. Thankfully, some progress has been made.
After following instructions the Alt+F9 keys works. I can now toggle between
{embeded equation.DSMT4} and an empty rectangle. In order to see the content
of the rectangle I can double click the left mouse button and I get to see
the equation and the Math Type screen. Unfortunately the Math Type screen
partially elliminates the document. If the right mouse button is clicked (1x)
the rectangle outline changes to 8 small black squares that form a rectangle,
but the equation is still not visible. Click this box and get a choice of 9
options but 1 is not enabled. I select Equation Object and can choose from
edit, open, and convert. This is all good progress but I still can not make
the equation(s) visible to my students. Do you have anymore
ideas please?

Re: Embedded Equations Word 2003
On the View tab of Tools | Options, clear the check box for "Picture
placeholders."
