deleting in a form fields
I am trying to create a form with shaded text form fields. when you type in
a field and then back space or delete the text, the shading (and or the text
field) disappear.

any suggestions on how to be able to edit the answer on a form without this
problem? This will be a template that is used repeatedly to enter info on
different case logs. thanks-

Which version of Word?

Have you *protected the document as a form*? You need to do that in order to
use form fields as form fields.
