I have word 97. I used to be able to open a word document and it would be plaved automatically on my task bar. I could then open another word document and it would go to my task bar. This way i could toggle back and forth between the two pages using the task bar. I had to get a new used computer and now the feature i just described is no longer available. I have to have two windows open at the same time as I have to copy and paste from one document to another. I can only see one document at a time. I Have tried options but I can't find it anywhere to change it. Does anyone know what to do?
Did you also use Word 2000 or higher? Prior to Word 2000 the ability to display each open document as a separate task on the task bar did not exist.
