Now it works, now it doesn't - macros driving me crazy
I have my normal.dot and a special menu (menu.dot) which contains macros to
open documents. When in "Template manager"? (I've got the Swedish version
here) I add menu.dot to normal.dot the menu.dot gets ticked and the menu
macros open documents. Saving normal.dot and restarting word I find that the
menu.dot is still attached to normal.dot but not ticked. The menus doesn't
opening anything, but rather produce a "Macro not found". Ticking menu.dot in
the "template manager" and the menus open documents once again.

I can't ask my users to tick the menu.dot every day, and I am surely missing
something - but what?

For a global template to be automatically available it should be installed
in the Word (or Office) startup folder.
It has nothing to do with normal.dot.

Quick check and that seems to solve it.
And to think we had a "consultant" to create and update our templates
leaving us in this mess.....

Thanks.
