Re: Add-in macro not shown in Quick Access Toolbar commands
Bolstering the idea that it's a bug, if you revisit the QAT customize window
after adding a macro by opening the startup template directly, after the
template is closed, you can no longer see where the macro associated with
the tool resides. This definitely seems like an oversight to me. You should
always be able to inspect things to find out what's what, and in this case,
once the startup-based macro has been added to the QAT in the manner
indicated by Graham, the QAT dialog offers no subsequent trail to the owning
template.

So in the meantime to make it easier for co-workers to use the add-in
i put it into a COM Add-in and Added a tab in the ribbon. This atleast
allows them to add the commands to the QAT. But how can then remove my
"Common Tasks" tab from the ribbon if they so choose? I find this odd
since in all other versions of office you could customize the toolbars
so easily. Thanks for all the help
