Convert html to word
Hi,
I want to convert a html page to word2000 document. This html page contains
the images and text positioned using DIV elements properly. Please let me
know if there is any way to convert exactly the html to word?

Thanks

Regards,
Ram

Re: Convert html to word
Hi Ram,

Word has a limited vocabulary for web documents. It's main function was to produce an HTML version of a .DOC file that could be
then reopened in Word by someone else and not lose any of the .doc content/functionallity that wouldn't be shown in a web browser.

For .htm files not created in Word but opened in Word through File=>Open, it's pretty much an 'as is' transformation. Word does use
DIV tags for *its* content. Create a page in Word as a .doc file to look like you would want to see the finished web page then
save or File=>Web Page Preview it then look at the HTML source to get an idea of how Word uses HTML.
