I like MS Word more than Open Office Writer, but I've been testing Writer and I'd like to know how well it converted my document to doc format. I put the letterhead in a frame because I've found no method of putting it in the header of only the first page if I want OOWriter to convert it to doc format. In MS Word, does http://www.polisource.com/misc/OOWriter-test.doc look like the full sized version of http://www.polisource.com/misc/doc-viewed-in-OOWriter.gif ? Thanks in advance for helping me test this. I'll be going to the library to test it myself, but there might be different results with different versions of Word.
It looks close enough with that particular document (Word 2007 and 2003). -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Barry wrote: > I like MS Word more than Open Office Writer, but I've been testing > Writer and I'd like to know how well it converted my document to doc > format. Thanks. I just downloaded MS Word Viewer 2003 and confirmed it your Word 2003 test.
