Old Word to 2002
Hi Folks - I have an old word document which I cant determine the age of, it
could be 95, 97 or later. Word tells me I need a converter to open it but so
far I've been unable to find one on the web to do that.

Again, unfortunately I don't have my installation CD's with me (I'm overseas
on business at the moment) but really need to open this document.

Any advise on what converter may be appropriate would be useful (and where
to find it on the web).

Cheers

Re: Old Word to 2002
All Word documents from 97 on may be opened by later versions of Word
without a converter (some issues with Word 2007 that are not relevant here).
Word 95 uses RTF format which Word should open also. Earlier than that you
will probably need the DOS converter which you will find on the downloads
page of my web site.
