Hello all, I found a potential error in Word 2003 and here is the way to reproduce it. 1> New a word document 2> Insert a textbox and then insert a picture inside the textbox 3> Insert->Reference->Caption->Figure Word will automatically add a caption "Figure 1" for the first picture 4> Insert a textbox and then insert a picture inside the textbox gain 5> Insert->Reference->Caption->Figure The problem is that the caption of the first figure is changed to Figure 2, while the caption of the second figure is assigned as Figure 1. This is really annoying bug in Word. So do we have to solution for this? Or what the best practice to insert multiple pictures into on page in word2003? Thank you
I wonder if you are confusing it by inserting pictures in a text box? I can't imagine any reason why you would want to do that. In some of my documents, I may have 2-3 figures on each page and have no issues inserting a caption for each figure. -- Jeanie B.
