ActiveX Installer Service - UAC disabled

In order to allow standard users in Vista to install ActiveX AxIS feature
must be installed and correspondig GP set. The problem is that this does not
work when UAC is disabled. Any idea/workourond to allow a standard user to
install ActiveX controls?

hope vista heads works...with vista need all the help one can
get.....running vista ultimate...and have problem with windows
update....icon appeared in system tray a few days
ago...stating...."windows can't check for updates".....any solutions
anyone.....when i try to install update...windows search 4.0 for windows ...

Hi There
Has anyone had this appear on there computer I know its a rogue program but
how do I get rid of it.
Its a pest I have Norton Internet security 2008 but that does not report
this rogue program.
It just pops up everywhere and am afraid that it will compromise my system.

Then I shut down my machine for a couple of hours. Now I have no sound. Can
